Fiend Bassy continues to bless us with fresh visuals. Bas drops off a gloomy new video for “Housewives,” from the Dreamville compilation Revenge of The Dreamers II. Look out for Bas debut album, Too High To Riot next year.

The sequel to 2014’s Revenge of the Dreamers compilation features a nine-track set with appearances from Cole, Omen, Cozz, Lute, Ari and Bas. The Dreamville crew also make appearances, alongside the Social Experiment’s Donnie Trumpet and Correy C.

Too High To Riot • Bas

Cozz links up with fellow Dreamville artist Bas for the single “I Need That”. The visual, directed by Doubi Bishara, highlights his year on the road with his Dreamville crew. Watch as he and Bas emerging from the smoke and take us on tour.

J. Cole, Bas, Cozz and Omen are set to play at the Air + Style Music Festival in L.A. The two-day festival takes place at Expo Park between February 20 – 21.

BAS performed at the Tidalx1020 concert Tuesday night in Brooklyn, his biggest stage yet. With the help of fellow fiend @Oakshades and Sean Mcverry on the keys, he performed his popular single, Lit, along with hits from his debut LP, Last Winter.

When this New York rapper reached new heights, he was lucky enough to have people around to keep him grounded.

Sunken on the leather sofa of his dressing room, Bas basks in the fleeting moments of downtime he has before addressing an overflowing crowd in Toronto. Flanked by his extended family and friends, including his brother on tour DJ, Moma, Bas is as at ease in this city as he would be in his native Queens. Or Paris. Or Sudan.

“The running joke on tour is that everywhere we go, I have cousins,” Bas clarifies. “They help out.” It’s a unique luxury that he can afford. A rapper on the rise usually travels with a lot of company: friends from the old neighborhood, new “advisors” and female fan corrallers. Bas, on the other hand, rolls with family and fellow members of the Fiends crew, an artistic collective with branches stationed globally. They’ve helped foster Bas’ growth, and Bas in turn has stayed rooted to his values and not the trappings of the whirlwind rap lifestyle…

J. Cole is bringing back his Dollar & A Dream Tour, this time to celebrate the release of Friday Night Lights. As usual, admission is granted on a first-come first-serve basis for only $1. On the 1-year anniversary of Last Winter, Bas debuts the music video for “Fiji Water in My Iron”. Director Scott Lazes enlists Dreamville’s Mike Shaw and model Stacey Hash to play the love interest in this flick about roller coaster relationships.
